Jupiter is a fascinating planet. Not because it is considered a beneficial planets within the astrology’s theory as it reflects expansion / multiplication / extension; but gives us focus on those things in life that are really important for each of us.
Jupiter stations retrograde today 4th September until December 30, 2023 moving from 15º Taurus back to 5º.
Now, what does it mean and how it is going to affect you? Well, it really depends on what sign your Natal Jupiter is placed, what aspects has and how the transit Planet is going to aspect your Natal Jupiter and others planets in your chart. The outcome is not the same for each of us but still is going to affect us all.
Remember that each planet in astrology is beneficial and prejudicial. When stations direct we get the benefit of the planet flowing whereas getting retrograde makes us getting stuck. Movement is live and Retrograde is stagnation.
Jupiter is the planet of expansion so it can expand abundance of our wishes and dreams but when it gets retrograde, it also expand the stuff we don’t want to look at, the stuff that we’ve been pushing away and any type of unfinished business. It doesn’t necessary have to be painful but it is going to get you uncomfortable.
However now it is the time to face it up for once and after all.
Interestingly, you actually do not have to be active or retroactive in the sense of calling for the effect of Jupiter Retrograde as you will notice how life will bring to your attention what needs to be resolved, most likely monetary of financial nature: maybe a call from your ex-wife to finish with the divorce’s agreement, a call from your supplier about covering up that late payment, a letter from the IRS/Revenue for unpaid taxes, unexpected new expanses related to any financial initial agreement (e.g we need to add an additional 10.000 € to cover up additional expenses of the house renovation). The fact is happening under an Earth sign as Taurus means money is involved so my suggestion would be to save money and cut unnecessary expenses off for the next 4 months or so. Do not buy another car or a house. Not necessarily because it won’t happen but it won’t in the way you’re expecting. Whatever the number give you initially will be higher, more expensive.
On the other hand, you might also notice some workmates or ex-husbands might try to get your attention (again) by flirting with you during December 2023 before Christmas. They must be people you already know though (No new individuals in life). Depending on your Moon placement, you might go forward. There are months of high chances of one-night stands which you will regret (Retrograde means making the same mistake again).
In Mundane Astrology, Jupiter Retrograde in Taurus also is going to hit some macro standards such as, financial markets especially: we might notice some stagnation in the economy where inflation might stop rising but not coming down. Somehow economy is going to get “stable” within the current instability: some less demand in commodities might be the main cause of stopping inflation.
On the other hand, stagnation in Jupiter might increase the interest rate in some key countries which will be attractive for some particular investors (you) to put some savings on it.
As a conclusion, we can expect some positive views in economy not because an improvement but rising cost of living will get “stuck” for the next few months.
Other topics which we might hear in the incoming months are some unfortunate news related to murders using “black magic” or unusual crime cases. Hard to define rationally. Just to be prepared to hear from the news some horrible crime happening in a big country. Hope to be wrong.
